On Getting Back Into Drawing

A long time ago, I used to draw. In fact, drawing was probably my biggest hobby, especially back in school. It’s something you can do pretty damn easily, since all you need is paper and a drawing implement. However, when I started doing my 500 words a day, my desire to draw faded away. Later depression made me give up on drawing completely, and what little art I did was mostly unseen. These days though, I am slowly getting back into drawing. While I don’t draw nearly as much as I write, it has been quite a change. Pleasant, almost.… [Continue Reading]

5 Oddly Related Video Game Songs I fall to sleep to

I’ve been pretty tired lately. Life has been hectic and I’ve had a lot on my mind. Even writing articles has been a bit of a problem. Now, after five years of writing daily, I’m actually facing writers block. But in the mean time, I’ve been looking for music to listen to. Mostly for me to fall asleep. And now that I have a nice pair of headphones I can wear in bed, I can finally get some better sleep. Funnily enough though, as I was making a Spotify playlist, I realised that, well, some of the songs I listen… [Continue Reading]

5 Unusual Ways to Heal Yourself and Avoid Damage in Warframe

On the surface of Warframe, especially early on, there’s a small problem with, well, just playing. For low level players, there are often too few ways to heal yourself. But as you climb the ranks, players find more and more ways to heal themselves and stop themselves from dying. However, there are quite a few ways you can heal yourself, and some of them aren’t exactly obvious. Guardian and Medi-Ray We’re going to start off simple here. Medi-Ray is a mod for robotic companions, which makes them slowly heal you if you take damage. The healing isn’t the best, but… [Continue Reading]

I’m Confused About All This Witch Queen Stuff

Normally, I don’t follow Destiny 2 that closely. While I have tried to enjoy Destiny 2, I find it hard to play regularly. There is a lot of grind in Destiny 2, but since I already have a game I grind hard in, I don’t really fancy another. That being said, I do keep an eye on new updates and stuff. After all, my brother plays Destiny 2 and he enjoys it a lot, telling me when all the cool new stuff is appearing. So when he informed me that Destiny 2 were doing a live stream and announcement that… [Continue Reading]

The Ever-Increasing Difficulty of Finding a Ditto

Ditto is a cool Pokemon. It has the ability to turn into pretty much anything, and in Pokemon GO, it’s no different. While Ditto may spawn in the wild in the main games, the same Pokemon is almost never seen in Pokemon GO. In fact, Ditto disguises itself as different Pokemon, and will turn back into its normal self when caught. Editor’s Note: Of course, a week after posting this article, Ditto suddenly becomes both shiny and as a reward for research breakthroughs. Typical. As someone who played Pokemon GO first and the main games later, I somehow forgot about… [Continue Reading]

Another Article About Spam

The other day, I briefly noticed that there were a lot of spam comments. Normally, I delete these on the regular, but I must have just forgotten lately. Not that it’s a huge problem, I’m the only person who ever sees spam comments. And it’s very easy to get rid of spam as well. All I have to do is click a button, and all those spam messages disappear. What does surprise me though is just how much there is. Seriously, there can be thousands of spam messages if I forget to empty the spam bin. I’m pretty sure that… [Continue Reading]

On Stolen Robot Doggos

One of the more surprising additions to the Sisters of Parvos was the fact that we can adopt their pets. If you kill a Sister of Parvos, when you return to your ship, not only do you get the Sister’s weapon, but you get her robotic companion as well. However, despite being somewhat strong when tied to a Sister, is the adopted Hound any good? Well, let’s find out. Are they even useful? Hounds work in pretty much the same way as MOAs, built by Legs in Fortuna. There are currently three types of Hound, and the mastery given from… [Continue Reading]

5 Warframes Who Hate Fashionframe

Fashionframe is the true end game for Warframe. Once you’ve done everything, there’s not much else left to do. Sure, you can throw some Forma at Tenet weapons, farm Steel Path for new Arcanes or even help newbies. But all of this feels far more enjoyable if you are using a cool-looking Warframe. With so many options for colours, helmets, Syandanas, armour and skins, there’s a bit of something for everyone. Armour and syandanas in particular can make or break a cool silhouette. And at the end of the day, some Warframes really just don’t work well. Whether it’s clipping… [Continue Reading]

Every Game Needs Waypoints

Fun fact: If you aim at something and press the Waypoint button (G by default), it creates a small icon that everyone can see on their HUDs. This is very useful for marking objects like rare caches, Argon Crystals and Ayatan sculptures. But you can also use it to mark the way for other players, and you can use it to highlight dangerous enemies. It’s a small, useful feature that can help avoid confusion or point to rare loot, and is genuinely useful for newbies. My question here is, why don’t most games have this? Well, to be fair, a… [Continue Reading]

An Article in Which Medic Reworks Companions in Warframe

In Warframe, you’re not alone. Every Tenno deserves a companion by their side, to follow them across the solar system. However, many of our companions are left to gather dust. Only a handful are actually helpful, and the majority of helpful companions are Kavats. Which is a shame since we have so many companions to play around with. I think a companion and pet rework would be a good idea, especially since everyone just uses the same handful of companions. After all, why would you want a robotic hound that splits into three and tries to attack enemies, when you… [Continue Reading]
