Avoid Sanctuary Onslaught for now…

Sanctuary Onslaught is a mess right now. The game mode that was supposed to be a horde mode where you kill literally everything simply isn’t working. It’s filled with bugs and all sorts, and the seven hotfixes we’ve seen since the game mode was released don’t seem to be making things any better. The bugs are pretty harsh. Host migrations will destroy all of your rewards, booting you back to your ship with no rewards at all or worse leaving you trapped on a loading screen for eternity with no way out aside from quitting the game. Issues with efficiency… [Continue Reading]

Plains of Eidolon – First Look

The Plains of Eidolon update is here, and it’s pretty fucking big. It’s also rather laggy and buggy and messy, since over 100 thousand players are playing Warframe (via Steam) as I type this. Goodness knows how many more are playing via the standalone version. In this article, I’m going to give you a first look into the Plains of Eidolon. There’s… a handful of problems. Just so you know, SPOILERS ahead. Firstly, nodes have been moved around. Cetus, the town relay and hub, and the Plains of Eidolon are essentially the 4th place on the Star Chart and you… [Continue Reading]

Steam Caching Hell

Edit: Everything is apparently fixed now. What actually happened is still a confusing mess of caching. Something is very wrong with Steam today. After Steam went down from too much traffic, people started realising that they were no longer logged in as themselves. This was most obvious when clicking on one’s Account Details, you’d see the information of, well, not you, the most revealing of which is payment information, Steam Guard details, your shopping cart, your purchase history and your email address. Don’t panic just yet. What is coursing the issue is said to be a caching problem, according to… [Continue Reading]

The potentially unintentional PAYDAY: The Heist update 1.22.0

On a normal day after a Nintendo Direct had finished up, I decided I was going to play some good old PAYDAY: The Heist. I was about ready to launch the game when I noticed that there was an update required to the game. “Strange,” I thought, this game hasn’t updated since December of 2012. Regardless, I inquired about the update with a peer and they also confirmed that they got an update. There were no patch notes available anywhere, and nobody seemed to know what was going on. It was first noticed on the Payday subreddit on Nov 12… [Continue Reading]

Pass Time and other update and community stuff

I’m supposed to be working right now, even though I’m supposed to be on holiday too, but oh well. I want to write articles. Work can go fuck itself. Anyway, there’s a TF2 update that’s appeared out of nowhere. Apparently, Valve have been hanging out with with Bad Robot, who do films and stuff, and working with Escalation Studios (some other gaming company), and they’ve basically made TF2 Rugby. I’d call it Football or Soccer, but they are both lame sports. Rugby is what Saxton Hale would play, after ultimate fighting and hockey. This new Pass Time game mode (who… [Continue Reading]

Glitched Weapons

Along with all the cosmetic stuff and weapon balances and all that, the Gun Mettle update brought with it a HUGE amount of glitches and bugs and all sorts of stuff, some of which may or may not be fixed *cough*dropped Medi Guns holding Uber*cough*. A lot of bugs have already been fixed, but it’s worth going over some of them anyway, because why not? Sadly, I couldn’t get many pictures of these bugs, since I’m an idiot who fails to press the screenshot button quickly enough these days. The first and probably worst bug that’s popped up is the… [Continue Reading]

Confusion muses about bugs in: Fallout New Vegas

All games have bugs. Glitches or exploits, they make the game interesting, as long as they don’t crash the game or make it unplayable. You played a game as big and as long as I have played Fallout NV, you are bound to find a few amusing or noteworthy ones. The entire spectrum of error is full of unfriendly death laser, poor password protection and a demon performing brain surgery on you. Welcome to New Vegas. Enjoy your stay. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToKIkw3LIoQ&w=480&h=360] If you have heard of NV, one thing you probably probably know about is “That Daily Solar Deathray Laser”… [Continue Reading]
