Little Quality of Life Things I want in Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves actually has a lot of decent accessibility features. You can use text to speech, have subtitles and turn on a lot of useful little things, like holding or tapping to interact with objects. However, there’s always a few little things that I feel like Sea of Thieves needs, that are more gameplay-orientated. Markers for skeleton ship loot Skeleton and ghost fleets are both world events, and when you kill a ghost ship, you get a couple of wraiths circling where the loot drops. When you defeat a skeleton ship though, that loot just bobs up and down… [Continue Reading]

The Benefits of a Larger Pokestop Range

At the beginning of August, Niantic removed a bunch of quality-of-life, pandemic-playing additions. These additions were made just as COVID was becoming more global. Among these changes was a much-liked feature. Pre-pandemic, the range for spinning Pokestops and the life was 40 meters. During the pandemic, this was changed to 80 meters, so we could still play without being as close to each other. But for some insane reason, Niantic removed this feature, while the pandemic is still on-going. There have been lots of angry community articles written about the reverted Pokestop distance, however many of these articles focus on… [Continue Reading]

Pokemon GO’s Useful Tag System That I Don’t Use

The ability to better organize Pokemon has been a much-requested feature in Pokemon GO. With no such thing as boxes or PCs, your Pokemon are displayed in one big list. While this works fine with small groups of Pokemon, when you have over 1000 Pokemon available, things get iffy. A top-range phone can deal with this fine, but older phones can experience slowdown. Just scrolling through your Pokemon can be a little too tedious. Luckily, last year, we got some QOL features to help with organization. Some of these are more useful than others. There’s two features I want to… [Continue Reading]

Things That Empyrean Really Needs

I’ve been playing quite a bit of Empyrean now. It’s an amazing experience that’s full of bugs and things blowing up, as well as lots of hectic running around. While the bugs will eventually be fixed or at least minimized and made less common, like the weird stuck-on-crewship bug, there are a lot of little QOL feature things that Empyrean needs in the meantime. We’ll get more missions soon, we’ll get Corpus, Infested and Sentient missions soon, but these suggestions are all little changes that would make Empyrean smoother. Ability to designate the role you want There’s really only four… [Continue Reading]

Yet Another 5 Things I’d Like to See in Pokemon Go

There’s always lots of little things that could do with improvements in Pokemon Go and I’m always stumbling across more. So, keeping in the spirits of aabicus’s original article about items and my own desired quality of life features (some of which actually got added, like quicker appraisals, here are yet 5 more things I’d like to see in Pokemon Go. Keeping the Shorter Raid Egg Timers Because of current events involving tier 5 raids with multiple Legendary Pokemon, there has been a stark change in raid timers. Instead of waiting an hour to see what’s inside a raid, the… [Continue Reading]

A Long List of Little Things I Want In Warframe

Ages ago, I had an idea for a series of articles about things I wanted. I sat on the idea for ages though because I honestly didn’t really know how to do it. The original article was going to be about Elder Scrolls 6, with me loudly arguing about wanting the game to happen in Elswyr or Black Marsh, simply because Bethesda have already pulled off incredibly cool, alien landscapes in previous games. Then it all fell apart when TES6 was teased at E3 because clearly it wasn’t going to be set in either place. At the same time, I… [Continue Reading]
