Pokemon GO’s Beyond GO Update and Speculations Overall

Both my two main games right now have massive updates coming up. Warframe has Deimos Arcana, which may already out by the time you’re reading this. Pokemon GO on the other hand is going to have a MASSIVE update with huge changes. Not only will levels increase to level 50, but we’re going to be seeing changes to the spawning and more. The more technical places like the Silph Road are all over this stuff, and there’s a huge amount to talk about. And by huge, I mean huge. We’re basically talking about a fundamental change to Pokemon GO. Level… [Continue Reading]

The Problem With Exalted Weapons

An Exalted Weapon in Warframe is an ability where you summon a magical weapon and wreck havoc with it. There are different types of Exalted Weapon and, generally, they drain energy as you use them, in exchange for sheer power. But while exalted weapons are both cool and powerful, they are not always consistent. And, sometimes, there are better options out there. Exalted Weapons are Harder to Mod The first big issue with exalted weapons is that they are finicky to mod. They’re not consistent and can’t use all mods. Originally, you actually couldn’t mod exalted weapons. Instead, they borrowed… [Continue Reading]

Dark Spooky Forest Week: Twisted Treeline – The Old Spooky League of Legends Map

League of Legends, as far as most people are concerned, has two maps. It has Summoners Rift, the main map that 99% of people play on. There’s also Howling Abyss, the map mostly used for ARAM games. But there used to be other game modes and other maps too. The Crystal Scar was a weird control-point-based map for 5v5. And then there was Twisted Treeline. A 3v3 map, built around the same premise as Summoners Rift, except spookier. Basically, it was a 3v3 version of the standard gameplay. The concept was simple. You have a smaller map with less players,… [Continue Reading]

The Other Kind of Lich

Most Liches in Warframe come in two variants. The first never lives for very long. After all, they have a weapon or an ephemera. Things that the Tenno want or need. These Liches get hunted down and either killed or traded away. We need those weapons to complete our collections or better weapons we already have. And Liches with Ephemeras aren’t worth much, but they can be sold on for a modest amount of Platinum. These Liches never live for very long. Most people will try and kill them as quickly as possible. The sooner you kill a Lich, the… [Continue Reading]

The Weird Dead State that is Destiny 2’s In-game Communication

Like all modern games, Destiny 2 has an in-game chat function and in-game voice chat. The default settings are push-to-talk, but voice is enabled from the start, as is the chat feature. It’s just a feature that’s always there. After all, parts of Destiny 2 require communication and timing to complete. It’s not just mindless shooting. You need a chat feature, right? In a normal game, of course! In most games, even if you can’t use voice chat, some people will use text chat. If you have a hub area, some people may chat in it. To be fair, most… [Continue Reading]

Don’t Forget To Give Head Pats to Your Designers

Hi, I am Medic, and, despite the username, I am a graphic designer. That means I design graphics as part of my job. Now, graphic design isn’t the only thing I do. I am supposedly a multi-talented individual. Capable of doing lots of other things, like web design and writing as well. But graphic design is the skill I picked up the earliest. I had a copy of Corel Draw on my crappy computer when I was 11 and it all went downhill from there. Design is harder than it looks. At first glance, design seems to fall into two… [Continue Reading]

A Little Drive To and From The Capital

This is one of those weird articles where  talk about something really random. There’s not going to be much structure or anything. I’m just gonna talk. That being said however, I actually had to check and make sure I hadn’t written something like this before. So, today, we are going to talk about a random thing. The journey from the capital of Cyprus to the city in which I live. A journey that takes 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on traffic. Why am I talking about this? Well, it’s a trip I’ve made a few times in the last few… [Continue Reading]

Khora – The Queen of All Trades

Ever since Khora came out, I’ve been saying that Khora is a strong frame. Alright, for the first few days, she was really lackluster. But after an initial round of buffs, Khora turned into a really good frame. So good in fact that she’s now considered one of the nest nuke frames around, closer to Mesa and Saryn than anyone else. But Khora has something that those two don’t – the ability to be a jack of all trades. Really, Khora has it all. She’s probably one of the strongest frames in Warframe right now. Especially with a nuke build.… [Continue Reading]

Why Do I Not Enjoy Destiny 2?

I don’t understand this. Destiny 2 isn’t a bad game. At least, it’s not the awful game it started out as. Destiny 2 had a very rocky start initially, however, it slowly managed to pull itself up. The game improved further when Bungie managed to get full control of the game. Right now though, Destiny 2 is in the middle of a massive story-based conflict. There’s massive evil dark pyramids that are threatening to destroy various places, and everyone’s preparing for war. Really, between the lore, the gun play, the setting and the fact it’s free to play (now at… [Continue Reading]
