5 Shotguns You Should Try in Warframe

Shotguns are always a fun weapon type. Limited mag sizes, slow reload speeds but a fuckton of damage, all neatly wrapped inside a cool-looking gun. Sure, reload times will be a problem, but that doesn’t matter when you can spray enemies with death in pellet form. Or some other form, because Warframe shotguns are weird, crazy things. Anyway, here are five shotguns that you should really try and aren’t the Tigris Prime. Because the Tigris Prime is hard to get and insanely over-hyped these days. The Corinth Th Corinth is a Tenno-made shotgun that was hyped for an insanely long… [Continue Reading]

The Most Awkward of Aimbots

So I finally managed to get my sticky hands on Mesa Prime. It cost me 170 Platinum for the blueprint and the three components. I didn’t lose out though, I had sold 180 Platinum’s worth of primed mods beforehand. To the same person. So I still profited. Three days later, after farming for some argon crystals, I had Mesa Prime built and ready to go. And with the sexy metal gunslinger in my inventory, I felt I could finally write an article about her. I didn’t have to obtain Mesa Prime though. I could have just talked about normal Mesa.… [Continue Reading]

Thoughts on an Infested Open World Area

When you look at the Plains of Eidolon and the Orb Vallis, one can’t help and think “what’s next?” Logically, if you look at what the Plains of Eidolon and the Orb Vallis are themed around, you’d probably think that an Infested-themed open world area would come next. But will it? I’m not so sure. I mean, it makes sense that an Infested open world would come next. After all, we have a Corpus area and a Grineer area, and the Infested are the other major faction. The other factions, the Orokin and the Sentients, tend to command everyone else… [Continue Reading]

Toggle Prime Details

The other day, I hit Mastery Rank 26, currently the highest rank you can get. Feeling proud of myself, doubly so because I managed to finish the MR26 test in one attempt without even seeing what it was, I decided to treat myself. How? By buying myself a nice Tennogen skin. I’ve actually been considering buying a Tennogen skin for a long time. It was always guaranteed to be for Volt, because Ivara’s Tennogen skins aren’t that nice (even the Youkai bunny-like skin) and Khora doesn’t have any yet. In fact, I don’t really want Khora Tennogen at all unless… [Continue Reading]

A Complete Lack of Mesa Prime

You know what? I was going to do one of my weird ability breakdowns and warframe review articles because there’s quite a few frames that I’ve missed, the most obvious one being Mesa. Mesa is a hugely popular gunslinger-based Warframe who very recently got a Prime upgrade. Mesa Prime looks amazing and comes with a bunch of very nice weapons, the Akjagara Prime and the Redeemer Prime, all coated in that lovely Orokin gold. I had planned to write a nice little article about how cool both Mesa and Mesa Prime were, then show off some nice fashionframe for Mesa… [Continue Reading]

New War Predictions and Desires

The New War is the next part of the Warframe storyline, a quest that features the Sentient Natah rather than the Lotus. Although frankly, considering that the only info we have is that Natah went back to her mum and her mum wants her to destroy everything, all coming from a very small trailer released at the end of Tennocon 2018, the New War could consist of just about anything. So, since we know nothing of the New War, here’s some predictions and desires as to what the New War will contain. Let’s start with predictions, because we can certainly… [Continue Reading]

Fortuna and the Orb Vallis So Far

It’s been… a while since Fortuna released. Has the hype died down? Probably not. Is everyone still singing “We all lift together?” Oh yes. Is Fortuna 69 still alive? Totally. Is there anything special going on in Fortuna? Not really. So what HAS been going on in Fortuna and the Orb Vallis? Honestly? Not that much. There have been two major Fortuna updates so far. The initial update and the first Heist update in which we took on the Profit-Taker Orb. MOA companions and Kitguns were introduced, as were K-Drives and two whole new Warframes, as well as some nice… [Continue Reading]

“A Potent Alternative to Gunplay”

“This is a high-damage Warframe perfect for players looking for a potent alternative to gunplay” is part of the flavour text for when you preview Volt, either in the Warframe market or via the codex. But for the longest of times, this sentence was completely wrong. Firstly, when it comes to high damage, Volt actually kinda lacked in that. It wasn’t until Update 22.12, when two new Eidolons were released and we could steal Dargyns from the Grineer, that Volt’s damage was uncapped. Before then, most of Volt’s abilities actually didn’t do much damage at all, and his main damage… [Continue Reading]

Servofishing

Servofishing is just fishing for robots. Because for some reason, the Orb Vallis doesn’t have any normal fish, it has a strange mixture of mechanical fish, a combination of boxy Corpus fish robots and smooth, sleek Orokin fish creatures that have been swimming in the coolant waters for hundreds of years and have suddenly been dragged out of the water so us Tenno can turn them into scrap. I’ve already brought up fishing, both on the Orb Vallis and on the Plains of Eidolon before, but lately my new favourite thing is to sit on my lazy yellow ass and… [Continue Reading]

Eidolons and Spidolons

After the Fortuna 2.0 update, there are now two massive bosses you can fight. They both have the same basic idea, being composed of adapting Sentient parts, requiring a little team work at first and being immune to various sorts of damage. In fact, the Orbs are actually made from bits of sentient stuff, hence why they’ve got the nickname Spidolons. But the two fights are very, very different. And not always in a good way. Let’s have a quick recap of how an Eidolon fight and how a Profit-Taker Orb fight works. Eidolon fights require you to take down… [Continue Reading]
