An Update On That Bionicle Game

Back in April, a guy called Crainy revealed a trailer for a Bionicle game, in which you’d be able to explore the island of Mata Nui and play as one of the six legendary Toa. The trailer created waves and brought together a ton of old Bionicle fans. But it also raised a huge amount of questions, a lot of which have slowly been explained over time. Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui still had a lot of mysteries though. On the 20th of May though, an announcement on the larger side was made by Crainy on the Bionicle: Quest for… [Continue Reading]

Some Parts of Pokemon Go’s PVP are Okay…

To say that I’ve been rather critical of Pokemon Go’s PvP system and the Go Battle League isn’t entirely accurate. Originally, when PvP battles between friends and Team Rocket Grunts came out, I enjoyed it. In fact, fighting Grunts is probably one of my favourite things in Pokemon Go. But there is an awful lot of hit and miss with PvP and battling in general. Today, I think we should discuss some of these hits and misses about battling in general, ignoring the Go Battle League and its myriad of problems. Pro: For a mobile battle system, it’s deceptively deep.… [Continue Reading]

On Both Liking and Hating Limbo

Because of Scarlet Spear,  I ended up playing a lot of Limbo. It wasn’t because I particularly wanted to, but Limbo was just the best choice. My other options involved playing Mesa or being a buffer for more damage. While all these roles are useful, I always ended up playing Limbo simply because no one else really wanted to. Why? Because most people don’t like Limbo. Myself included. I never particularly enjoyed Limbo, and my main original reasoning was that I didn’t like not rolling. That still applies today. I use rolls to keep my momentum going, especially after long… [Continue Reading]

Railjack is So Much Better Now Mostly

Warframe’s theme for 2020 has been fixing things and creating wars. We had a refresher update earlier on in the year that made a lot of great tweaks and removed self damage. That was followed by the start of the New War and Scarlet Spear. Now we’re getting Railjack tweaks and changes, and pretty much all of these changes have been pretty damn good. Everything is less tanky, less hot and faster! The bulk of the changes seem to be making the experience smoother. Most enemies are less tanky, particularly the enemies on Crew Ships and in bases. Sure, we… [Continue Reading]

Things I want in Minecraft: Food edition

I spent quite a lot of time playing Don’t Starve and Don’t Starve Together. Although I don’t like them as much as Minecraft, one thing that I really enjoy about the game is the Crock Pot. The Crock Pot allows you to cook new and better foods from basic ingredients. We don’t really need something like that in Minecraft, but I do want more food-related things in Minecraft. Here are some of the things I want. Desserts and sweets On top of being a glutton, I also have a massive sweet tooth. As of now, we have sugar, which is… [Continue Reading]

Glassmaker’s Mystery Interactive Cinematic Is Kinda Weird

In previous Nightwaves, Nora Night simply had a story to tell. One that somewhat unfolded in a linear way. Although the cinematics were nice, they were pretty damn basic. Even a kid could probably work out that the Wolf didn’t like Alad V or that the Infested would attack. The Glassmaker’s story however is supposed to be a murder mystery, one that the Tenno have to uncover. With Nora voicing over it, of course. We have to do the work. Nora Night has given us a crime scene to investigate. A digital one, pulled out from the Weave, which is… [Continue Reading]

Kuva Weapons – Liches, Percentages, Forma

Kuva Weapons are a bit of an anomaly in Warframe. Most weapons are available only after you have built them, or bought for vast amounts of ducats. Event weapons are often just deposited in your inventory. But with Kuva weapons, you can grab them straight from the foundry. Even though they are just given to you though, Kuva weapons need a lot of work. They are also… pretty damn random. Obtaining a Kuva Weapon Getting a Kuva Weapon sounds simple on the surface. All you have to do is kill a Kuva Lich! Well, actually, you have to spend ages… [Continue Reading]

I Miss My Ignis

In my quest to finish leveling every weapon in the game, I’ve been neglecting my Ignis. It’s been sitting there, unused, for ages. While the Ignis still sits at the top of my most-used primary weapons, I actually haven’t touched it in a long, long time. In fact, even after I finished leveling everything up, my Ignis remains somewhat untouched. Why though? Why did I abandon my Ignis? Well, simply put, I’ve been using other weapons lately. Out of the last 10 weapons I needed to level up for mastery, all of them except one were primary weapons. The Kuva… [Continue Reading]
