Kinda Not Really Sugar Free Lemon Yogurt Ice Cream

You need an ice cream maker for this one. “Nothing is truly sugar free” ice cream 700g Greek yogurt (10% fat is nicest but 5% fat works too) 1 large lemon 1 lime 1/2 cup sweetener – what you’d normally use to sweeten tea or coffee. Zest the lemon and the lime, then juice them both. Mix the lemon and lime juice in with the yogurt and mix well. Add the sweetener and continue to mix. Throw in the zest, keep on mixing, then pour into your ice cream maker. It is worth tasting the mixture before making it into… [Continue Reading]

Give Everyone Vacuum Already

For the longest of times, I’ve used Carrier and his big brother Carrier Prime. While Carrier Prime looks much less like a floating nut sack, it does have more armour and is all-round tankier, having more armour than many actual Warframes. The main reason I use them is for Ammo Case, a mod that converts unused ammo into ammo I actually need. The second reason I use Carrier is for Vacuum. The reason I’m writing this article is because I finally matured Spasma, my Helminth Charger, and leveled her up to 30. It was a boring, tedious experience. For some… [Continue Reading]

The Free To Play Business Model

For some context, take a look at this video: Basically, when OB51 arrived in Paladins, a lot of complains had rose from Reddit and YouTube about the painfully large amounts of grind that everyone faced, with the only way out being sinking money to buy Founder’s Packs and boosters. And when I said “grind”, I don’t mean grinding for cosmetics. The grind is for loadout cards which players need to play the game well. The customizable loadout card system is one of the unique selling points of Paladins. And this marks the second time Paladin’s business model’s under fire, with… [Continue Reading]

INSTANT CAKE MIX IS CHEATING

I’m in a bad mood. I’ve been looking up easy home-made cake recipes. I have been cheated. Half the recipes I have found have been instant cake mix plus the standard ingredients you need to make said instant cake mix. This is not baking. This is cheating. Now, I’m not saying that instant cake mix is evil and should be banned. Instant cake mix is a lazy, silly thing to have, considering that a cake 99% of the time is flour, sugar, eggs and a fat of some sort. Plus some baking powder. So spending money on a ready-made mixture… [Continue Reading]

Pocket Pauling

The Pocket Pauling is a cosmetic released in the Rainy Day Pack. It is a plush doll that looks like Ms. Pauling holding a clipboard, which sits on Scout’s backpack. The button eyes are rather similar to the ones on the Pocket Pyro except that they’re darker in colour. In the Pocket Pauling’s hands is a clipboard, which has a small piece of paper on it that is (supposedly) held in place by a thumbtack. On the paper is a drawing of Ms. Pauling’s face surrounded by heart shapes and a sentence saying:”Scout is the best of the Teufort nine and… [Continue Reading]

Ten Really Fucking Annoying Warfame Enemies

I’m angry, so I’m writing an angry article about angry things! Rargh! Today’s rant of anger is directed at fricking stupid Warframe enemies I’m sure that most people probably hate. But for you readers, here’s a way to learn about them without tearing your hair out in horror. At number 10, we have Nullifiers. Nullifiers are Corpus enemies, weak mooks wearing stupid suits with corkscrew-like generators on their backs. These bastards produce a large, glowing shield (blue for normal Corpus, gold for Corrupted Corpus). This shield not only blocks bullets, but if your Warframe touches said shield, it will instantly… [Continue Reading]

Modding Skyrim

Here’s a question for everyone. How many of you have modded Skyrim? Going along with that, how many of you have actually beaten Skyrim (i.e. the main questline)? I have a feeling that the number of people who’ve done the latter is smaller than the former. Why would this be? Well simply, Skyrim belongs the mods! Going into more specifics, there are tons of mods out there to customise Skyrim to be how you want it. Whether that’s playing as a new species, changing the environment to a tropical paradise, or downloading those 18+ mods (and you people know who… [Continue Reading]

Reddit Admins are planning to remove custom CSS from subreddits. That’s stupid.

Ah, good old CSS. Cascading Style Sheets. CSS is beautiful. It can do so much stuff. It’s what makes the internet a beautiful place. CSS allows the customization of pretty much any site, works mostly the same on the majority of browsers (and almost always has workarounds for backwards bastard browsers like Internet Explorer) and that’s all it does. CSS makes things pretty. CSS is the language of style. Unlike HTML, Javascript or anything else, 99% of the time CSS keeps its coding claws out of actual content and focuses solely on looks. CSS allows me to make the Night… [Continue Reading]

Complaining Across a Very Small Sea of Games

I have two siblings, both of whom are better at games than I am. Particularly platforming games and anything with precise timing, which I hate with a passion. They are both fans of first person shooters. They both started playing FPS games at the same time I did, starting with Left 4 Dead and Garry’s Mod. They’ve always played similar games. They both adore class-based shooters. They are Terroxy and Nommy. Nommy is the youngest of the three of us. She plays with a small group of friends. Mostly Overwatch these days. She’s gone off Team Fortress 2, because she… [Continue Reading]

The Six Hundred and Seventieth Article

Out of all the numbers out there, I really like the number 70. I’ve never really understood why. It’s just a neat number. Not really divisible by much. Not particularly interesting. But it looks nice. Clean almost. Why am I talking about the number 70? Because I missed my 666th article due to A Week of Love and Hate 3, and I didn’t want to wait until my 700th article, even though it’s the number 700 and 700 is way more impressive than 70. But still, here I am, publishing my 670th article. Complete with images that have nothing to… [Continue Reading]
