Seven Stories for Smissmas

Ah, alliteration, don’t you love it? Well I do. There’s something nice about how words all starting with the same letter roll off the tongue. Like poetry but nicer and simpler. And potentially less posh and snobby. What’s better than alliteration though? Stories. Well, not always, it depends on the story. A bad fan fiction about two characters who would normally hate each other somehow ending up screwing is always going to be horrible. And speaking of horrible, the holiday season just isn’t the right time for scary stories. No, I did that for Halloween. Actually, I did that twice.

For Smissmas this year, I have something even better than two stories. I have seven stories! As the title of this article kinda suggested. Yep, seven stories. But they’re not all obviously about Smissmas, Christmas or any other holiday.

Each story is based on something that genuinely happened to me (or aabicus, or other SPUFers), dramatized into a cute little story with a (hopefully) happy ending. They cover a bunch of games that we normally cover here on the Daily SPUF, and are all just a bit of fun. Of course the action and drama and mystery have all been amped up a bit, but what’s the point of a story if you don’t exaggerate a little?

There will be one story a day, up until Christmas Day. Depending on how many articles we have available, I’ll also publish a normal article alongside each story. We’ll see how we go, alright?

All this holiday stuff though, and no gifts, you all think? Well unfortunately I don’t have any games or anything to give out right now, but I AM doing drawing requests! That’s right, the Bad Drawings By Medic On Sketch Toy Salon is now open for business! If you have a request, simply pop over to the Daily SPUF Discord server or send Medic a message on Steam and request what you want. You’ll get your image sent to you via Discord or Steam chat, however you contact me, and it’ll be sent as a URL. Once you get your picture, you can do whatever you want with it.

The only rules are that it can’t be too complicated, it has to be video game related, it has to be non-sexual (i.e. no making me draw porn – tits and arses are fine!) and you can only make one request at a time. Once I’ve completed your request, you can request another. Oh and I have the right to say “no, I won’t draw that.”

Admittedly, I just wanted an excuse to publish these stories all in one go. But we could all do with some nice, feel good stories to go along with our wintry months. Or summery months, if you’re on the other side of the planet.
