Every Game Needs Waypoints

Fun fact: If you aim at something and press the Waypoint button (G by default), it creates a small icon that everyone can see on their HUDs. This is very useful for marking objects like rare caches, Argon Crystals and Ayatan sculptures. But you can also use it to mark the way for other players, and you can use it to highlight dangerous enemies. It’s a small, useful feature that can help avoid confusion or point to rare loot, and is genuinely useful for newbies. My question here is, why don’t most games have this? Well, to be fair, a… [Continue Reading]

An Article in Which Medic Reworks Companions in Warframe

In Warframe, you’re not alone. Every Tenno deserves a companion by their side, to follow them across the solar system. However, many of our companions are left to gather dust. Only a handful are actually helpful, and the majority of helpful companions are Kavats. Which is a shame since we have so many companions to play around with. I think a companion and pet rework would be a good idea, especially since everyone just uses the same handful of companions. After all, why would you want a robotic hound that splits into three and tries to attack enemies, when you… [Continue Reading]

The Five Worst Weapon Farms in Warframe

There are a LOT of weapons in Warframe. So many in fact that I regularly forget that some weapons exist. While there are a multitude of weapons available, the grind to obtain many of them is not balanced in the slightest. In fact, some of these weapons are so difficult to farm that it’s easier just to buy them. Except, well, some weapons really just can’t be bought. In this article, we’ll be looking at the worst weapon farms in Warframe. Miter, Seer, Cronus, boss weapons These weapons aren’t that hard to get. After all, Warframe bosses are kinda lame.… [Continue Reading]

Ultra Time was Great, Ultra Space was not

After GO Fest, there’s always some sort of Ultra event. The U-shaped Unown appears in raids and there’s an unusual theme surrounding the event. This year, after GO Fest 2021, players ‘unlocked’ three Ultra events. The first was Time, the second was Space and the third was randomly Gen 8 stuff. As events go, the Ultra Time and Space events were rather similar. But it’s clear as day that one event was better than the other. The big difference are in the wild spawns Time Week’s wild spawns were great. We had a mixture of actually useful wild Pokemon. Fossil… [Continue Reading]

My Concerns About The New War

In Tennocon 2021, the New War was given some sort of release date. At the very least, the massive quest would be released this year, in 2021. However, it’s been an overly long and drawn out quest. So much so in fact that I am actually kinda concerned about what the New War will entail. After all, this has been bubbling away in the background of Warframe for years, and expectations are al over the place. The question is, will it be worth the wait? Playing as different characters is cool, I guess Funnily enough, one of the more exciting… [Continue Reading]

Warframe’s Lack of Normal Tenno Life

Sometimes, in Warframe, people like to sit down and relax for a bit. Maybe they’ll go fishing on the Plains, or sit in relays and chat with each other. Some people prefer doing K-Drive stuff to relax, others prefer mining and conservation. There are plenty of non-lethal things to do in Warframe. However, no matter whether we’re sitting in a relay or chilling out in Fortuna 69, every single Tenno present looks pretty damn tense. Warframes and Tenno don’t seem to relax at all. I mean, I don’t blame them. The Tenno murdered a bunch of Orokin and society collapsed… [Continue Reading]

Another Eevee Community Day

When I was brand new to Pokemon GO, I once accidentally took part in the first Eevee Community Day. While I didn’t find any shinies, I did manage to get a few new Pokedex entries. I never really thought though that there’d ever be a second Community Day. Well, here I am, writing about another Eevee Community Day. Just goes to show that anything can happen. However, this Community Day was different. Two Days of Eevee For some reason, this Community Day is in fact a Community Day weekend. We get two 6-hour periods in which all spawns will be… [Continue Reading]

What Is the Point of Converted Liches, Outside of Trading?

Whenever you defeat a Sister of Parvos or a Kuva Lich, you get two options. The first option is to completely murder the Sister or Lich, so you can steal their gun. After all, Kuva and Tenet weapons are some of the best weapons around. However, if you are feeling merciful, you can convert the Lich or Sister and have them fight by your side. However, the most common reason to convert a nemesis is for their Ephemeras. These fancy effects are highly sought-after because, well, they’re basically Team Fortress 2’s unusuals but for your Warframe. This means that Ephemeras… [Continue Reading]

5 More Places to Farm Affinity and Experience in Warframe

While I’ve talked about the best Affinity and experience farms in Warframe before, it’s always good to have options. After all, there is only so much time you can spend on Hydron. Sometimes you just need a break, a chance to do something different. We have so many items in Warframe to level up. The grind is now bigger than ever, especially since we have a ton of new 5-forma-required weapons. Here are some slightly less effective but still good Affinity farms, in cause you get bored. Spy Missions For low level players, places like Hydron and Railjack might seem… [Continue Reading]

The Benefits of a Larger Pokestop Range

At the beginning of August, Niantic removed a bunch of quality-of-life, pandemic-playing additions. These additions were made just as COVID was becoming more global. Among these changes was a much-liked feature. Pre-pandemic, the range for spinning Pokestops and the life was 40 meters. During the pandemic, this was changed to 80 meters, so we could still play without being as close to each other. But for some insane reason, Niantic removed this feature, while the pandemic is still on-going. There have been lots of angry community articles written about the reverted Pokestop distance, however many of these articles focus on… [Continue Reading]
