Corrupted Holokeys Suck

For some very weird reason, the Sisters of Parvos don’t use melee weapons. All the weapons you get from killing a Sister are standard guns. However, there still are some new Tenet melee weapons available. They just don’t have anything to do with the Sisters of Parvos. Why aren’t these weapons available from the Sisters? I’m not sure, but I assume it’s because the Sisters all skipped leg day and arm day. My guess is that the Sisters just aren’t strong enough to use melee weapons or something like that. Sisters generally tend to be skinny anyway, so seeing one… [Continue Reading]

Still Thinking I Am A Noob

My current rank right now in Warframe is Legendary 1. With the Sisters of Parvos update, there was enough new mastery to go past True Master. In fact, there is so much new mastery that it adds a chunk towards Legendary 2. No matter how I look at things, I have spent way, way too much time playing Warframe. I may not be a founder, but I have been part of the space ninja roller coaster for a while. Deimos, Fortuna, the Plains of Eidolon, I experienced all of that. Yet something has been bothering me lately. Well, something aside… [Continue Reading]

Zombie Sandbox – Dead Rising 4

For ages, my zombie game of choice was always Left 4 Dead. I never really tried any others. But when the siblings and I spotted two copies of Dead Rising 4 in a local store, we decided to pick it up. Brother already owned it but me and sister didn’t. So we bought the game and decided to give it a go. Once we’d downloaded the game, of course. Initial thoughts: Lots of zombies, lots of stuff. I was actually somewhat surprised by how much stuff each map contained. The map we played on was pretty damn large and actually… [Continue Reading]

Golf With Your Family

I’m not normally a fan of golf. Wandering across grass trying to get a small ball into a small hole is tedious to me. However, Crazy Golf is genuinely a bit of fun. It’s hectic and weird but requires a completely different way of thinking. After all, there are plenty more obstacles aside from grass and sand. But there’s one thing that crazy golf is inhibited by. Something that makes crazy golf video games so much better. No need to be restricted to reality. In a video game, reality and physics are whatever you want them to be. There are… [Continue Reading]

Eliza and the Nancys

When it comes to anything musical, I am unfortunately a lost cause. Not only can I not hold a tune, but I can’t hold a beat either. While, yes, I love listening to music and singing alone, it’s purely for my own amusement. My singing voice has been compared to a “cat being strangled”. I’m not THAT bad at singing, but the only positive way you can describe my musical talent is “crap but enthusiastic”. Thankfully, the rest of my family not only puts up with my tuneless enthusiasm, but they all have some sort of musical talent. My siblings,… [Continue Reading]

Corpus Railjack Is Kinda Mediocre

I like Railjack. It’s not my favourite game mode, but I think it’s fun occasionally. While you can easily play in a group, it’s also perfectly fine while playing solo. However, there’s a good 50% of Railjack content that kinda sucks. I’m talking about Corpus Railjack missions. Because they really just aren’t very good. A Taxi ride Corpus Railjack missions are basically a brief jaunt towards an otherwise normal mission. Sure, there are side objectives you need to complete before you board. But once you’re done with side objectives, you basically abandon your ship! Everyone on board is forced to… [Continue Reading]

On Painting My Nails

A long time ago, I had an obsession with nail polish. I would happily blow (some) of my pocket money on new colours. In fact, I went for the cheapest and brightest colours available, and kept them all in a hideous red bag. With my massive stockpile of varnishes, I would paint my nails semi-regularly, always trying to do something creative. Heck, I wanted to paint other nails too. And, for some reason, I painted a small Warhammer figurine with nail polish. Simply put, as a crazy teenager, I liked nail polish a little too much. But, for reasons unknown,… [Continue Reading]

Warframe’s Nightwave and Intermission-iness

On the 28th of July, Nightwave Intermission 3 ended. It had been going since early February, filling nearly half a year. A good 5 months or so of randomly chosen daily and weekly tasks. When it did finally end, there were a lot of mixed emotions about Nightwave. Was it good? Was it bad? Who really knows. Editor’s note: Intermission 4, Nora’s Choice, started on the day this was published. But frankly all of this article applies equally to Nightwave 3 and 4. It was all mostly filler One thing that we know for certain though is that Nightwave Intermission… [Continue Reading]

Another Ramble About Destiny 2’s Shaders

A while back, I rambled on about how I didn’t really like the cosmetic system in Destiny 2. Since I was regularly farming gear over and over to upgrade my light level, I was stuck with ugly, default colours. While I did have the ability to change my looks with shaders, it honestly wasn’t worth it. I was just wearing whatever had the biggest number on it, and hoped I’d find something better. In fact, one of the bigger turn-offs was how Destiny 2 shaders were one-use only. If I needed more shaders, I’d need to spend resources to obtain… [Continue Reading]

The Tenno’s Forgotten Past

In Warframe, there is a very specific name used for our characters. Warframes are our suits, we are Operators. But, as a whole, we are called Tenno. Not only are we particularly strange, but we have vast amounts of powers. We are considered as saviors to some, terrorists and betrayers to others. Most of the time though, we’re rampaging around, murdering thousands, all because of our greed. The Tenno are somewhat hypocritical and cause a lot of destruction. In fact, you could consider the Tenno as bad guys. Or at least nearly as bad as the bad guys. Frankly, it’s… [Continue Reading]
