5 Places to Vibe with Ivara

Sometimes, it’s just nice to chill out and do nothing. Life is hectic and complicated. Our brains can easily get overwhelmed and too much stress really isn’t good for your health. Personally, I like to play video games (mostly Warframe) to calm myself down. But occasionally, I am too tired and burnt out to even play video games. So I end up just finding somewhere peaceful to sit and relax, while also killing things. Mostly while playing Ivara. “Why Ivara?” It’s quite simple, really. Ivara can remain perfectly invisible for quite a long time. While standing still, you drain almost… [Continue Reading]

One-Time Mythical Pokemon in Pokemon GO

Mythical Pokemon are weird. They’re simply not like other Pokemon. The vast majority of Pokemon are caught within games of Pokemon, whether it’s the original Red and Blue, current generation 8 Pokemon or even side games like Pokemon GO and Snap. However, with mythical Pokemon, it really does depend. Many Mythical Pokemon are somewhat withheld from normal, natural gameplay. Instead, they are given away as promos and prizes in various events. This can make filling a Pokedex a tad tricky and awkward to do. But, luckily, with Pokemon Home and Pokemon Go, you can much more easily catch Mythical Pokemon.… [Continue Reading]

Warframe’s Naberus Event Is Lame

Like pretty much every other game right now, Warframe is in the middle of its Halloween event. Halloween is generally a good thing for gamers, since most games will have fun extras to them, especially in MMOs and games with lots of cosmetics. If it’s a popular game, then there will almost certainly be a tie-in or event regarding Halloween. At the very least, there’ll be a few pumpkins strewn about. However, this year, Warframe’s Halloween event has been very lackluster. Like, really, really lackluster. It’s not an event, it’s a shop. Yeah. A spooky shop. In the Necralisk, Daughter… [Continue Reading]

5 Weapons Every Vanu Medic Should Unlock in Planetside 2

Tired of running around with that default Pulsar rifle? If you’re anything like me, you slowly figured out it wasn’t quite living up to your expectations. Then, once you maxed out your Medical Applicator, you finally had some decent certs to explore other options. This article catalogues some great guns you should consider when that time finally comes! Terminus I have been reliably informed that the Terminus is the best overall assault rifle in the Vanu Medic arsenal, with heavy-hitting bullets and a generous rate of fire for medics who can control the weapon spread and recoil. However I must… [Continue Reading]

Video Game Stuff I’m Actually Good At

I suck at video games. The reason is quite obvious, I’ve just not sat down long enough to get the hang of them. The smooth mouse movement I use for work does not sync well with the erratic mouse and stutter movement I have in video games. That being said, I am very good at doing somethings… completely wrong. Getting an enemy down to low health then someone else kills them It’s a known fact that my aim is truly trash. But lately, I have noticed something else. My aim works in a special way: Miss the first couple of… [Continue Reading]

Infinite Primary Ammo Is A Blessing

Long time readers of the Daily SPUF may notice one thing about me. And that one thing is that I have fucking awful aim. Awful reaction times, awful awareness and an amazingly bad shot. I dare not go to an actual firing range, for fear that my complete lack of skill in video games somehow transfers to real life as well. Better safe than sorry, especially around firearms. But still, I try to improve my aim. It’s been a tireless battle for years. In fact, my aim is probably stunted by the fact that I always played Medic in Team… [Continue Reading]

Amazing

I am sitting here, in front of my screen, trying to decide what I want to write about. There are many, many choices. Many of which will probably be about video games. After all, this IS a video game blog. However, today, I don’t fancy doing that. Instead, I am just reflecting on the other week and all the things that happened. Things were somewhat hectic, other things were simply bad. But at the end of the day, I am still here. That week though was a rather specifically bad week. Bad things kept on cropping up. I spent chunks… [Continue Reading]

Rest in Peace, Gnawing Hunger

The other day, I did something weird. I’d leaped into Destiny 2 to take part in a cheesy raid, and gone to my vault to get some new weapons. The Lorenz Driver I had needed upgrading, so I grabbed my last upgrade module and selected a weapon to infuse into it. This is a perfectly normal thing to do, after all, I have a lot of weapons. But I needed a higher level weapon to infuse into my Lorenz Driver before we could do this raid. Somehow, in my confusion and exhaustion, I accidentally sacrificed the wrong weapon. I really,… [Continue Reading]

On Legendary Buddies

I like the buddy concept in Pokemon GO. It’s one of the few things where Pokemon are treated as friends rather than candy. Sure, not a lot happens with the buddy system, but it’s a unique thing that you can passively work towards. Some Pokemon are easier to walk than others, and walking a Pokemon to Best Buddy isn’t always needed. I’ve also recommended in the past to not walk a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon, because they take too long before getting any tangible benefits. Well, call me stupid, because I don’t actually listen to my own ramblings. At all,… [Continue Reading]

The Best Non-Warframe Specters

Warframe can seem quite odd at times. But one of the things I find particularly odd are Specters. Not just Warframe Specters, but random other specters too. While I have already discussed Warframe specters (and done so quite a bit), I haven’t really mentioned the handful of other specters we can use. And if you play Warframe with enough random characters, you can obtain a lot of these specter blueprints with ease, as they mostly drop from Syndicate attacks. What’s interesting though is that we actually have some backstory when it comes to specters. They were originally the brain child… [Continue Reading]
