Pokemon Go Needs More Random Encounters

Jessie from Team Rocket and the Meowth Balloon

I absolutely loved the Team Go Rocket pre-Go Fest event. Sure, the event research sucked ass, but it was awesome having grunts to fight! It’s also cool being able to fight Giovanni and the Leaders, without scouring Pokestops with a radar. The nicest thing is that you can just sit at home on your own and have an encounter. Sure, most of the time, it’s a male grunt with an Omanyte, but it’s a nice little encounter. Something to spice up an otherwise empty world. Let’s face it, Pokemon Go’s map is bland! Up until we got the buddy update,… [Continue Reading]

There Are Always Idiots In Every Group. Always.

We all know Lua

I was browsing imgur the other day when one of the front page posts was talking about being wrong about climate change. The post, a screenshot off of Tumblr, stated that there would be no real consequences if we turned out to be wrong about climate change and would still be making the world a better place. There were a few arguments in the comments, mostly about “well it’s all China/India’s fault!” and “the corporations do most of it!”. There were even some retards who commented that “more CO2 is good because plants need it!”, not knowing that carbon dioxide… [Continue Reading]

Khora’s Weird New Deluxe Skin

Khora Urushu Skin with Kavat and Venari

What is it with me and my favourite frames getting… weird skins? My favourite frame, Volt, never got a deluxe skin, and instead got a weird “Proto-but-not-proto” skin. And now, my second favourite frame, Khora, has got a weird skin of her own. The Khora Urushu skin is… kinda weird. It’s definitely a Khora skin, the problem here isn’t like Ember and her weird, bird-like deluxe skin. But something feels off about it. It’s cool but… not cool? I mean, at first glance, the Urushu skin looks amazing. Khora gains this cool, geisha-like look, complete with thorny flowers and an… [Continue Reading]

The Lost Art Of Identifying A Font

My poor, poor font folder

I have far too many fonts installed on my little computer. I want to say over 9000, but it’s not quite that many. Including font variants and very similar fonts, it’s probably closer to about 7000? Either way, it’s a lot of fonts. Why do I have so many fonts though? Well, aside from fueling my addiction, sometimes I have to recreate artwork. After all, a low resolution image Knowing some obvious fonts. Of course, there are a lot of common fonts that everyone uses. I’m not just talking about Comic Sans or Papyrus either. Back in the days where… [Continue Reading]

The Steel Path is… Interesting…

Fighting Level 100+ Specters in Junctions

The Steel Path is basically a Hard Mode for Warframe. For years, players have begged for a high level version of normal missions, so they don’t need to wait an hour to fight level 100+ enemies. Things like Elite Sanctuary Onslaught, Liches and Arbitrations weren’t enough. People wanted more. So we got the Steel Path. Which just plops 100 levels on everything, gives everything +250% health, shields and armour and calls it a day. You just redo the entire star chart, with 100 more levels. With a premise that simple, you wouldn’t think there was much to talk about, right?… [Continue Reading]

Purified Pokemon Kinda Suck

A Shadow 100% Tyranitar VS a 90% Purified Tyranitar. The Shadow one would always win, even if it had 0% IVs

With the recent Team Go Rocket event, I think it’s worth discussing purified Pokemon. Team Go Rocket have been capturing Pokemon and forcing them to become more powerful, turning them into shadowy forms of their previous selves. Apparently, this is actually quite painful. It’s so bad that Shadow Pokemon refuse to be traded and refuse to learn anything but Frustration. After all, I’d be pretty frustrated if I’d had my level forcibly raised, forced to fight some random kid and then abandoned. Purification on the other hand is how you save these tortured beings. You sprinkle them with stardust, candy… [Continue Reading]

7 More Mods to Improve Your Nude Skyrim Experience

There’s loads and loads and loads of nude mods for Skyrim. From the super popular CBBE all the way to obscure retextures of obscure retextures, there’s a nude mod for everyone. Heck, there are mods to make non-humanoids more nude and give them bits and pieces. I’m not actually here to talk about that though. I’m here to talk about mods that make your standard nude gameplay and improve it. Just like my previous article on mods like this, I’ve found a few more mods to improve your nude Skyrim experience! Naked Stuff of Skyrim Naked Stuff of Skyrim is… [Continue Reading]

Risk of Rain’s Lore Is Weirdly Terrifying

Killed by the planet!

You wouldn’t think that the Risk of Rain series had any sort of lore, but it does. And all of it is kinda… weird and abstract and not really well-understood. While I never really played Risk of Rain 1 (which is too hard for me), I have been playing a lot of Risk of Rain 2. Right now, a lot of the “story” aspects are missing. There’s a handful of levels but you normally loop around and around. Until you are killed by the planet, obliterate yourself or fade to black after fighting a special Scavenger. The actual lore though?… [Continue Reading]

Glassmaker’s Third Act is Out and Tells You Nothing

A Glassed Grineer, the victim in Act 3

Alongside the Steel Path, the third act of Nightwave Series 3 is available to play. You can now wander through a third crime scene, looking for clues. This time round, the clues are in even more annoying places, particularly the one about feelings. But if you look around for the objects that aren’t normally there and have a little glow to them, they are easily found. Just need some patience. Anyway, new act, new story? Kinda. This time round, a lone Grineer soldier was turned to glass. Unlike the previous ones though, there was a lack of fighting. This Grineer… [Continue Reading]

Recommended Augments for Warframes

No idea what's going on here...

Warframe has a huge amount of, uh, Warframes. And with lots of Warframes comes lots of mods. But we also have plenty of Augment mods, which alter the abilities of various Warframes. Now, some Augment mods are simple tweaks and changes. Some of them alter how an ability works. Others are basically straight buffs to various abilities. While a lot of augments are situational, some augments are kinda too good to not use. Let’s look at some of them. Oberon’s Phoenix Renewal Phoenix Renewal is an augment for Oberon’s Renewal ability, which heals you over time. Phoenix Renewal revives you… [Continue Reading]
