The New Eximus Enemies Are REALLY Tough!

Alongside the Angels of the Zariman update, we actually got not one but two reworks for older systems. Focus, which is what Operators use to make themselves strong, got a weird rework which shook up Focus overall. But we also got an enemy rework. More specifically, we got a rework for Eximus enemies. You know, those weirdly larger enemies that have more health and a variety of passive effects. The rework was aimed at updating Eximi into more noticeable and powerful enemies, rather than the weird enemies with auras that they were. Basically, we all wanted Eximus enemies to be… [Continue Reading]

Voidshell Skins are Neat

One of the newer and fancier parts of the Angels of the Zariman update is the introduction of Voidshell skins. These skins are brand new and work rather differently compared to other skins. It’s all part of a new customization system, but is currently being tested, so there are only a few skins available. We got three Warframes and a set of armour for Drifter and Operator. But how do they work? Choosing Textures With the new Voidshell skins, you actually get to pick a texture as well as a colour. There are a good number of textures available, ranging… [Continue Reading]

A Lackluster Introduction for the Zariman

The Zariman 10-0 has been a massive part of Warframe’s lore, literally being the place where it all began. A ship full of families disappeared, sucked into the void and changing everyone within. This is where the Tenno came from, kids trapped within, forced to save themselves from the monsters that were formerly their parents. For such a prestigious place, a location full of mystery, chaos and death, you’d think that a proper visit to the Zariman 10-0 would be a rather impressive story piece, right? Well, no, not exactly. The first time we actually go to the Zariman is… [Continue Reading]

Sick of Space Kids

I’m gonna be honest. As much as I like Warframe, I really, really dislike anything to do with my Operator. The initial reveal of Operators was great. They sat in their special chair and we could ignore them for a bit. But pretty much every update or quest since keeps on pushing Operators further and further. And it’s getting harder to avoid using Operators. These days, you can’t really get past them. Operators become a fancy new requirement for, well, most new updates. The War Within was an obvious sequel to the Second Dream, but it’s only gotten worse from… [Continue Reading]

Not Bothering with the Legendary Ranks anymore…

I think, finally, after all these years, I think I can stop chasing new mastery. It’s been a long, long ride. A multi-year long ride, to get to the prestigious rank of True Master. And then we went beyond that, entering the Legendary Ranks of 1 and, soon, 2. There are enough items in Warframe to level up that we have hit Mastery Rank 32. But is it still worth chasing? We now know what’s after True Master. From what we’ve seen so far, it seems quite simple. Both Legendary 1 and Legendary 2 ranks require doing the same things… [Continue Reading]

Where the Fuck did the Narmer go?

Narmer, Narmer, Narmer. Throughout the New War, everyone was shouting about Narmer. A massive religious culty thing appeared, apparently enslaving everyone and giving them all mental blowjobs. Or something like that. Really, it was just putting masks on that made everyone feel like they got what they wanted. Magic masks so powerful that they could take anyone down. And at the centre of it all? Ballas, the Orokin executioner, controlling pretty much everything, and all that worshiped him became Narmer. Either way, there were a lot of them, but after the New War’s conclusion, the Narmer seem to simply disappear.… [Continue Reading]

Wow, 9 Years of Warframe

This month, Warframe is celebrating 9 years of existence. Nine entire years of ninjas and updates, nine years of change and adaptation. The Warframe of today is nothing like the dark, eerily silent, almost stealth-like gameplay that Warframe started as. And throughout those 9 years, we’ve done everything. Not just fighting, shooting and brawling either. Warframe has dipped its toes into fishing, conservation, quests with powerful themes, customized weapons and companions, making music and so much more. And it’s not just Warframes either. The Tenno have found and salvaged all sorts of technology, including Archwing, K-Drive, Necramechs and Railjacks. Oh,… [Continue Reading]

My 5 Favourite Syandanas

When it comes to cosmetics in Warframe, there are lots of ways to customize yourself. But the most stand-out cosmetic is the Syandana, basically a special cape that hangs on the back of your Warframe. And because Warframe is a third person shooter, having a sexy back is actually pretty important. After all, we spent most of Waframe staring at our Warframes back. Thankfully, Syandanas can help make your back more attractive, and we have so many of them to choose from. So here are my five favourite Syandanas that I own and wear all the time. Nighthunter I did… [Continue Reading]

Yet Another Intermission – Nightwave Nora’s Mix Volume 1

Well, Nightwave is back. Again. After what felt like an eternity of Intermission 2, we do have a new Nightwave to play, with both more rewards and more chores to complete. This Nightwave season though, there is no plot or anything. Named ‘Nora’s Mix Vol.1’, it’s technically a new Nightwave. But we’ve seen all of this before. It’s just another Intermission. Sure, this time it’s not called an intermission, but it certainly does act exactly like one. We have the standard 150 creds at the start, alongside a bunch of useful things early on, and the actual new stuff at… [Continue Reading]

5 Mods I Can’t Live Without in Warframe

Warframe’s modding system is pretty damn large. There are mods for all sorts of things, from shooting guns, changing damage types, all the way to more obscure things like augment mods. Some mods are a little mediocre or sometimes just genuinely bad. Other mods are a requirement and you can’t leave them behind. But for me, there’s quite a few mods I can’t live without on my Warframes. Fetch/Vacuum At the top of this list is what most people expect. The ability to suck up nearby resources, ammo, mods, everything, it makes everything so much smoother. No one really wants… [Continue Reading]
