Pokemon You’ll Never Be Able To Obtain

In Pokemon Go, there are some Pokemon you will never, ever find in the wild. Because some Pokemon only appear in specific regions. Not regions in normal Pokemon games, where you can only get Sinnoh Pokemon in the Sinnoh region. Regions as in genuine geographical regions. The idea is that Pokemon on earth actually live in different locations. Which makes sense, because Pokemon would live in various environments based on their dietary needs and all that. It’s cool and all, but Pokemon being unavailable in different countries is quite a pain in the ass when it comes to actual gameplay.… [Continue Reading]

On Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War

Avengers: Endgame has broken a fuckton of box office records and frankly everyone is ranting and raving about how awesome it is. Mostly because Avengers: Endgame was awesome but also because it was super hyped up and it did actually meet a lot of people’s expectations, and it also closes off a chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has spanned over 10 years. But for me, something feels off. As much as I enjoyed Endgame, I found that I enjoyed Infinity War much, much more. Before I continue though, I want to warn you that there will potentially be… [Continue Reading]

A Bunch of Reasons Why You Should Go Farm for Volt Prime Right Now

Volt Prime got released from the Prime Vault alongside Loki Prime on April 30th and I’ve already gone and started farming relics for him. And you should be out there, blitzing around the Void, farming relics and getting yourself a Volt Prime as well! Why? Here’s why! 1. Volt Prime is a Straight Upgrade! As much as I love Volt, his base stats are really, really bad. Low energy and non-existent armour make him insanely squishy. Volt Prime on the other hand has one of the highest energy pools in the game, literally double what Volt has! As for armour?… [Continue Reading]

On Aspartame and Other Artificial Sweeteners

I love aspartame. I love Acesulfame K. I love most artificial sweeteners, actually. But it’s only been in recent years that I realised that a huge number of people don’t, and that the idea that aspartame is toxic or otherwise dangerous has been around for ages. Okay, sure, aspartame is an artificial sweetener and some people just hate anything that is artificial, but is aspartame dangerous? No. Aspartame has been researched a lot. All sweeteners have. Aspartame is approved for consumption by the USA’s Food and Drug Administration and the European Food Safety Authority. It is safe to consume. No… [Continue Reading]

Minecraft 1.14 – Village and Pillage but also Quality of Life

The Minecraft 1.14 update came out recently, bringing with it an absolute ton of new things. The main themes of the update, as implied by the name Village and Pillage, are Villages and Pillagers. With villages spawning everywhere, there are now Pillagers to go alongside Illagers all eager to attack the Villagers. And villages themselves have a lot more going for them, with a ton of new blocks, new village looks and things like that. There is even a new raid system you can stumble into if you accidentally kill a banner-carrying Pillager then go to a village. But honestly… [Continue Reading]

Fishing for Cosmog

I’m not sure what day it is. Everything is blurring together. The little jingle of getting experience in Minecraft is stuck in my mind. I hear the sound of a bobber being pulled under at random. Large, blue surfaces and pixel oceans make me stutter. And I want to murder every single Deerling and Surskit in existence. Why? Because I have been fishing for Cosmog. You see, the other day, the Pixelmon server I play on had a minor update. You see, this server has a way to earning in-game money by mining and fishing and various things like that.… [Continue Reading]

On Living Close to Pokestops

Pokemon Go, more than anything, is a game that really improves or gets worse depending on where you live. The bigger the city, the closer to the USA you are, the better your experiences are while playing the game. Okay, that is a bit of a generalisation, but it’s basically true. If you play Pokemon Go in even a remotely rural area, then you have a massive disadvantage than someone living in a city. I didn’t realise how bad this was until someone I do local raids with showed me some screenshots and described his attempts at spoofing. Spoofing, for… [Continue Reading]

Tons of Useless Raids

The other day, in the three places across town that have 90% of all the city’s gyms, there were no interesting raids. None at all. So for the last few days, my free Raid Pass has gone unused. I’ll tell you what there were raids for though. Granbull. Four of them, in fact. Granbull, for those who can’t remember, is the final evolution of Snubbull, a small, pink clown dog Pokemon that spawns regularly whenever the weather is cloudy. Now, Snubbull has a really nice shiny form. It looks adorable. Granbull’s shiny form is mediocre though, mostly because Granbull is… [Continue Reading]

Renegades IEM Sydney Title Hunt

The recently dominant Renegades aim to win their first Major event, IEM Sydney 2019, which will begin this Tuesday April 30th.  We have seen a new contender rise in the last 3 months, with the Counter-Strike world being shocked with the recent performances from the prominently Australian lineup, boasting a recent Semi-Final achievement at StarSeries Season 7, being knocked out with a narrow 2-1 loss to Na’Vi. This run of form can be attributed to a massive team improvement, but specifically to Rifler Justin ‘JKS’ Savage and AWP player Sean ‘Gratisfacton’ Kaiwai, who have shown their skills off with brilliant… [Continue Reading]

New Arbitrations – Nothing Has Been Fixed

A recent update has appeared that changed Arbitrations, claiming to make them better. Unfortunately, said update has not done that at all. In fact, this update has taken away the one thing that made Arbitrations unique. You see, originally, if you died in an Arbitration, that was it, game over. You’d die and you’d be unable to rejoin. This meant that the meta slowly became filled with tanky frames rather than mass murder frames. Oberon, with his ability to prevent death with Phoenix Renewal is a very popular pick, but so are frames like Inaros, Rhino and Nezha, who can… [Continue Reading]
