Parvos’s Sisters and Their Lack of Lore Sense

It’s been a bit since the Sisters of Parvos appeared in Warframe, but something is bothering me about them. While, functionally, they are a lot like Kuva Liches, I feel like something is missing from them. Their lore doesn’t really make much sense. Well, some of it does. But all together, they seem to have a kinda messy and almost contradicting lore. What actually makes a Sister Candidate special? To create a Sister of Parvos, you need to get at least 25 kills in the Granum Void. Once you’ve done that and returned to reality, a Candidate will spawn. Stab… [Continue Reading]

How I Would Have Altered the Call of the Tempestarii Quest

Gonna be honest, the more I think about it, the less pleased I am with Sevagoth’s quest. What started off as an interesting premise led absolutely nowhere. There was not much substance to the quest, and nowhere near enough time to actually, well, do anything. Now, I don’t claim to be a good writer. But I really feel like even an idiot like me could, well, do more. Heads up, there ARE spoilers in this article. There kinda have to be. But the Call of the Tempestarii is literally half an hour of quests and cutscenes. It’s literally a Spy… [Continue Reading]

The Binding of Isaac’s Repentance Ending is… Curious…

With the arrival of the Repentance DLC, the Binding of Isaac is now basically a finished game. Sure, the developers said that about Afterbirth+. But the fan-made Antibirth mod was such a hit that the developers had to tie it all together for one final DLC. However, a big part of Repentance is that it gives us a final ending for the Binding of Isaac.

Thoughts on the Call of the Tempestarii Quest

The Call of the Tempestarii is a relatively short quest, tied to a new Warframe. It’s a very simple quest with nothing really challenging in it. This is also the name of Update 30, which is bringing along some other bits and pieces. Things like Void Storms, and hints at Corpus Liches. However, those need some… time to be digested, and for the bugs to be ironed out. So, today, I’m just gonna talk about the quest. I would have made a walk-through, but frankly, the quest is really simple. I’ve played it twice and, sadly, in both my recordings,… [Continue Reading]

On Glass Fish and Cat Statues

Ever since getting that John Prodman poster, I’ve been considering doing the little things I never got around to. Sure, I’m Mastery Rank 30, but I’ve never played a game of Conclave. Nor have I maxed out a Focus tree or made a really overpowered Kitgun. And I never got around to finishing the Somachord collection. Or collecting Kurias and Thousand-Year Fish. Those last three are less about actual Warframe things and more about finding and scanning tiny little objects. And, despite being rather similar, they’re all a pain in the ass to find. There’s actually a myriad of small,… [Continue Reading]

The Jupiter in Warframe Makes No Sense!

Jupiter is a weird place in Warframe. It’s the start of where things get serious. There’s a bit of a difficulty spike between Jupiter and Ceres  And it’s also the centre of a lot of strange lore. Jupiter is where you first meet Alad V and gives you a glimpse of what’s to come. But Jupiter makes no sense! In really any way! For example, physically. Jupiter is a gas giant. It is essentially a star that couldn’t quite make it. Jupiter’s outer layers consist of permanent storms of clouds and gas, and the only solid parts of Jupiter are… [Continue Reading]

Not Sure I Like This Whole No Warframes Thing…

The other day I talked about the Warframe Operation, Orphix Venom. This event is really weird because it doesn’t involve Warframes. I mean, you spawn in as your Warframe, you run to the first objective in your Warframe, but that’s it. Orphix Venom is about one thing: Your Necramech. It’s also part of a growing trend where Warframes are, well, undesired. We’re completely removing the game’s namesake from the gameplay. Think about it. This game is called Warframe. The point of the game is to pilot biomechanical suits called Warframes and use them to slaughter our way to a better… [Continue Reading]

The Issue With Space Mums in Warframe

It seems like we have a lot of problems with parental figures in Warframe. None of them seem to treat the Tenno as they really are. Every single Tenno is a child. Okay, sure, said child was forcibly grown up and trained to pilot a walking genocide machine. Sure, all the Tenno are basically immortal. And not all the Tenno are accounted for. But it’s definitely true that the Tenno are kids. Although they are growing up at a weird pace. However, the way they are growing up is being fundamentally altered by the multitude of parental figures wandering around… [Continue Reading]

The Lore-Based Reason Why Pyro is a Mediocre Character

I’ve talked about Pyro a lot in the past. While I don’t play much Team Fortress 2 at all any more, most of my friends do. And because of that, I hear a lot of… varying criticisms about the game. Mostly about Pyro. The Pyro has always been a pretty polarizing class, but also a somewhat spoiled class. While Pyro’s game balance may be all over the place, Pyro has by far the zaniest and most varied cosmetics and is probably one of the more popular characters. Despite being a short-ranged menace in a game that isn’t designed with close… [Continue Reading]

Albrecht Entrati

Hidden behind a door that can only be passed through by Tenno is a strange device. Maintained by Loid, this clock has… something to do with the Void. While it looks like a massive Ayatan sculpture, apparently it is some sort of clock. A massive mystery lies before us, involving both the Void and the mysterious Necramechs. But, more importantly, we have… memories lying around. Circling the edge of this great clock are runes. Some may remember them as the Requiem Mods we use to kill Liches. These are messages from Albrecht Entrati, the father of Mother and the head… [Continue Reading]
