Three Days is Too Much

Most things in Warframe come from your foundry. The foundry is a miracle piece of technology that takes blueprints and crafts them into Warframes, weapons and even space ships. For what looks like a small 3D printer, the Foundry does a lot of work. But in order to make these items, we Tenno need to be patient. Building things in the foundry uses real life time. For example, building a Health Restore pad takes 1 real life minute, while Kitgun and Zaw parts require an hour per piece. Some items take a full 24 hours to finish building, such as… [Continue Reading]

Erra Sucks

There are a lot of things that I didn’t really get in the New War. After all, it was a very large quest with a huge amount of stuff going on. But there is one character that I don’t get at all. Despite featuring many times in the cinematics pre-New War, Erra makes no damn sense. If anything, I’d say he’s one of the weirdest characters around. Warning, spoilers ahead! Turn back now if you don’t wish to be spoiled. Claiming to be Natah’s brother, Erra is a bit of a warlord, looking to finish what the Sentients had started.… [Continue Reading]

Somewhat Warming Up To Costumed Pokemon

Costume Pokemon are here to stay. Despite communities grumbling that hatted Pokemon are a waste of space, it seems like costumed Pokemon will always be on the rise. As we’ve continued throughout the year, we have had more and more costume Pokemon, to the point that nearly every other event has SOMETHING with a costume. But despite costume Pokemon wasting space, I do have a bit of a fondness for them. Most if these Pokemon are kinda cute The Pokemon chosen for most events are adorable. The most recent new hatted Pokemon is actually Hoothoot, the round owl Pokemon who… [Continue Reading]

What Aftermath?

Yes, I know I’ve been writing a lot about the New War, but there is so much to unpack. After all, it is a long quest that takes at least 4-5 hours to finish. Today’s article though features the aftermath of the New War. Or rather, a lack of one. Warning, mild spoilers ahead! Turn back now if you don’t wish to be spoiled. Something is bothering me when it comes to the New War. Despite all the carnage and distraction, the latest quest’s completion feels like, well, not amazing. For a quest where the whole solar system gets taken… [Continue Reading]

Gambit is in the Wrong Game

Every time I try and get back into Destiny 2, someone suggests I quickly do Gambit. Gambit is a weird cross between PvP and PvE. Its basic premise is that you have to kill AI enemies, collect the motes they drop and put them inside a container to spawn a massive boss. In the mean time, a portal opens up between two teams and a player can jump through and make life hell for the other team. First team to kill their boss wins. Simple, right? However, there is a small problem with Gambit: no one seems to like it.… [Continue Reading]

We’re Doomed – A Panic-Causing Board Game

As much as I love board games, they do tend to go on for a while. That’s not always a bad thing, but sometimes you want to play a nice, quick, short board game. Something that is fun but cleans up nicely when it’s done. To put it another way, the gang and I take forever to finish any board game. Thankfully, I bought my brother a gift for Christmas, and it’s just what we were looking for. We’re Doomed! We’re Doomed is a simple table top game that can support up to 10 players. As the name suggests, it’s… [Continue Reading]

3 More Tips Every L4D2 Player Should Know

A while back I wrote an article about three basic tips every Left 4 Dead 2 player should know. Each of them are easy to understand yet massively increase anyone’s survivability. The tips in this followup article are less mandatory, but still good to know. Either they’re more situational, or there are nuances that make them a little tougher to explain effectively. Nevertheless, if you found the first one helpful, this sequel’s for you! Tip #1: Stand on map objects when you get the chance. Imagine a common situation: you’re traveling down the street, when a horde of zombies suddenly… [Continue Reading]

There is more than one Tenno, right?

Something odd about Warframe is that we have no real idea how many Tenno are in-game. The number can fluctuate between thousands, hundreds and even possibly the tens, depending on how you look at things. Time travel, alternate universes and paradoxes could mean that there’s only one single Tenno who actually exists. Everyone else is an illusion. Please be warned, we have hints of spoilers in this article. Please read this article first. That being said, there definitely has to be more than one Tenno. After all, the Lotus has referred to us both in the singular and the plural.… [Continue Reading]

Why on Earth would anyone want to come to my Island?

As I play through Animal Crossing – New Horizons, I’ve begun to notice something odd. Everyone keeps on telling me the same thing, over and over. The residents who appeared on my island quickly settled down and told me how much they love island life. And as I got my first visitor from a campsite, I end up hearing the same thing. They love this island so much that they want to live with us. But WHY would anyone want to live in my island? Frankly, I don’t get it. My island is very much unfinished or even that sophisticated.… [Continue Reading]
