Waiiiiiit, Scream Fortress XI Happened?

Scream Fortress XI

Scream Fortress came a bit early this year, with very little going on with it. I didn’t make an article about it because there honestly was very little to write about, but what I DID do was make a fake update page for Scream Fortress XI (ELEVEN for those who can’t read Roman Numerals) because guess what, there wasn’t one this year. Then again, there hasn’t been a Scream Fortress update page since Scream Fortress 7, which means I’ve made a fake update page for the last 4 years. The result is a strange mess of scribbles which gets worse… [Continue Reading]

Maybe It’s Pyro Who Doesn’t Fit in Team Fortress 2, Not Just Sniper?

Pyro and Sniper by Medicinal Warlock

In all the years I played Team Fortress 2, there was always this long-standing belief that Sniper didn’t fit inside Team Fortress 2. As a character, he fits absolutely perfectly with a team of mercenaries and mad men, murdering because they are good at it and it pays well. But people have a strong dislike of Sniper because Sniper is often considered ill-fitting in terms of gameplay. After all, Sniper is a long ranged class in a game where most people have weapons with damage falloff over distance, running around with shotguns, pistols and mostly short range explosive weapons. Before… [Continue Reading]

Regigigas is Coming to Pokemon Go… If You Pay

Regi Regi Regi Regi

Okay, I’m going to be honest right now, Regigigas will be available in EX Raids after Mewtwo. But if you want Regigigas and a special research quest, the same way we received Jirachi, Mew, Meltan and Celebi, then you have to pay for it. For the small price of $7.99, you can buy an item that will allow you to access a special research task that leads you to Regigigas, and also gives you other nice things like a special pose and some premium raid passes. Well, you would have to pay for it if the special research task item… [Continue Reading]

Little Tiny Tips for Pokemon Go

Pokemon spawning in the middle of a desert

I’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a year now. I’m sitting quite happily at level 38 with a fine collection of Pokemon and way too many Rayquazas. But there are tons of things I wish I’d known when I first started playing. Little tiny things that I just, well, know now, almost subconsciously. Here’s a list of some of these tips, so you don’t make the same mistakes I did. Wait Until It Attacks, Then Throw Catching Legendaries is really hard at first, but you have a better chance of hitting a Pokemon if you throw just as the attack… [Continue Reading]

Trapinch Community Day? More Like Weather Boosted Day!

Trapinch Day Shiny Flygon

Well, Trapinch Community Day was… a thing. I like Trapinch, it’s fucking adorable and Vibrava is pretty cool as well. Flygon’s alright too. But the Trapinch Community Day was a bit of a bloody mess. Why? Because there was a severe lack of Trapinch spawns. Reports everywhere in Asia and Europe are all saying the same thing, that the presence of Trapinches was very hit and miss, with some places with lots of normal spawns having nothing, some new areas having loads of spawns and other places having spawns overrun with other Pokemon. Cyprus, it seems, did alright for itself.… [Continue Reading]

What if I were to rework Volt?

Volt Prime with Volt colour scheme

A while back, I wrote two very silly articles on silly rewords for both Vauban and Ember, two Warframes who are currently struggling to, well, be Warframes. Unfortunately, Digital Extremes didn’t go with any of my ideas and I really don’t blame them – after all, I am neither a game designer nor someone who actually plays Vauban or Ember. Both are important when it comes to reworking a Warframe’s abilities. However, there is one frame I play well and know almost as well as the back of my hand: Volt. Now, Volt doesn’t actually need reworking in any way.… [Continue Reading]

The Sudden Ability To Somewhat Reliably Throw Pokeballs

I went through so many model packs trying to find Sceptile and Grovyle models.

When the special research tasks for Jirachi came out, there was a little bit of panic as one of the final tasks was listed as “Make three excellent throws in a row”. At the time, that seemed like a pretty difficult task, especially for a Pokemon that no one was going to realistically use in any form of combat, was guaranteed just to be for the Pokedex and in a special research quest that was actually incredibly easy, compared to the previous quests. Luckily, it was quickly discovered that the task was in fact just “Make three excellent throws”, a… [Continue Reading]

Thoughts on the Joker Movie

A Clown Fish. Completely Unrelated.

I went to see Joker at the cinema the other night, after not really seen any movies for a while, and frankly, it was worth the trip. The cinema was packed but everyone was pretty quiet throughout the whole movie. Understandably because Joker was a genuinely really good movie. The plot was great. The acting was great. The music was great. The cinematography was outstanding, with some really amazing and beautiful shots. This is a well-crafted world, even if it is anachronistic at times, with believable characters and scenarios. You can see this horrible transformation from a hollow soul clinging… [Continue Reading]

Being a Better Team GO Rocket Leader

Pokemon Go - Tyranitar

While I’m a long, long way off from getting a gold Team GO Rocket medal for defeating 1,000 grunts, I managed to get the silver medal in record time and generally have no issue defeating these grunts, even if they throw a curve ball at me with a random Gyarados or Dragonite. Mostly because of Ty, my Stone Edge Tyranitar, because he’s so strong. Sure, I don’t have the higher level Purifier badge because stardust is expensive, but I beat almost all Team GO Rocket Pokestops on the first attempt. Sure, Team GO Rocket are trying. They even seem to… [Continue Reading]

An Inability To Call A Dragon

Well, Lokmahro is. This dragon is a fucking badass and I don't even know how I managed it.

I’m not very good when it comes to Skyrim modding. I can do basic things, like maybe making a follower or making a stupidly overpowered weapon. Heck, I can only just make basic shouts work. But according to Nexus Mods, the three shitty mods I have uploaded there have got over 1000 downloads combined, which means that I’m now a modder and have access to the Nexus Mods Skyrim modding forum. Most of those downloads come from the Summon Dragons – Durnehviir’s Necromancy mod that I made a really fucking long time ago. The mod adds a small portal which… [Continue Reading]
